Popular Japanese brand Sacai collaborated with Nike to create the Sacai x Blazer Mid Yellow sneaker, released in May 2019. This sneaker mixes dual retro basketball silhouettes, the ‘72 Blazer and the ’85 Dunk, to make a hybrid that’s both uncommon and familiar. This leather sneaker was made with twice as many tongues, laces, eye stays, and Swooshes compared to the typical Blazer Mid. The shoe’s autoclave rubber climbs up to the sides and is layered at the heel to finish the design.
