Our northern neighbours at Above The Clouds serve up their latest collaboration with ASICS. Inspired by Japanese architecture and product design, the composition of the shoe mixes old and new—drawing from the un-yielding focus Japanese craftsmanship.

The uppers are made from NEXKIN, a translucent technical mesh which gives the shoes a unique appearance and novel chameleon-like nature. Depending on what colour your socks are, the shoe can take on different looks.

Metallic overlays and a Chocolate Brown accent colour give the ATC GT-2160 a classic 2000s flavour without feeling too derivative of archival styles. Yet another stellar effort from the Sydney crew.
